Walk 4 Rescue 2010 recap

Huge, huge success!

On September 26th, 2010, The Working Dog Saloon Friends and Family walked 5km to raise money for homeless and abused animals.  Our goal was to also raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering and the crisis of pet over-population.

Not only did we have a great time, we managed to raise over $10,000.00 for our cause (almost four times what we raised in 2009!).

We want to thank everyone who participated, volunteered, donated items, or came out to support us.  Without your help we would not have been nearly as successful.

A special thanks to our partners and donors:

The day was filled with lots of 2 legged and four legged companions, live music, competitions for best dressed, best singer, and best trick, go-carting demonstrations from our working sled dogs, and great food and cold beverages.

We made a huge impact on the rescue community, and will be back to do it again - even bigger and better, in 2011.

Oowoo to all that came out to support the animals!
